Organizes ushers' activities
Ensures that groom is properly dressed before the wedding
Brings marriage license to wedding
Pays the clergyman, musicians, photographer, etc with envelops provided by the bride & groom
Offers first toast at reception
Keeps groom on schedule
Dances with maids of honor

Hostess/Ushers
Seat guests at the ceremony:
    Female - offer right arm; male - walk along his left side; couple - right arm to female, male follows
    Seat bride's guests in left pews; groom's guests in right pews; maintain equal numbers in left and right pews
    Seat eldest women first
    prior to processional, escort groom's mother then bride's mother to their seats
Direct guests out of church after ceremony
Direct guests to reception site
Hostess
- Ensure all guests sign the guest book
Hostess - Distributes wedding programs and maps to the reception

Bride's Mother
Helps prepare guest list for bride and her family
Helps plan the wedding ceremony & reception
Helps bride select her bridal gown
Helps bride keep track of gifts received
Selects her own attire according tot he formality and color of the wedding
Is the last person to e seated right before the processional begins
Sits in the left front pew during the ceremony
May stand up to signal the start of the processional
Acts as hostess at the reception

Bride's Brother
Escorts bride down the aisle during the processional
Gives bride away when asked by priest
Escorts bride's mother during the recessional

Groom's Mother
Helps prepare guest list for groom and his family
Selects attire that complements the mother of the bride's attire

Groom's Father
Offers toast to bride at rehearsal dinner
Escorts groom's mother during the recessional

Flower Girl
Carries a basket filled with loose rose petal to strew along bride's path during processional

Ring Bearer
Carries a white pillow with rings attached during processional
Gives rings to groom when asked by priest
Escorts flower girl during the recessional

Ceremony Readers/Gift Bearers
Reads the first and second readings
Reads the response
General Intercessions
Not required to meet for before ceremony pictures
